What are Water Wars
Just like how the country with the most oil source today is considered a primary resource country Wars of the future will be fought over water as they are over oil today, as the source of human survival enters the global marketplace and political arena. Corporate giants, private investors, and corrupt governments vie for control of our dwindling supply, prompting protests, lawsuits, and revolutions from citizens fighting for the right to survive. Past civilizations have collapsed from poor water management. Can the human race survive?

We live in a world today that over looks many issues simply because we either don't care about the problems, the problems are too big to fix on our own or, we just don't think that it's in our near future. The conflicts we face with water distribution, privatization, pollution are a lot closer than anyone thought and if we as an entire human race let these problems get out of control we could all be directly effected. These are a the main problems we are focusing on because the spectrum of these issues are so wide we choose to stick to a few.
Water Wars- Locally in southern California we often find ourselves using other peoples water and for the case of San Diego this is all so true. Problems are seen everywhere with bringing water to southern California. We divert water from places that need it and then sell it tenfold Not only do we have this problem but we have outdated and questionable sewage treatment plants that release the water right into the Pacific ocean that can create a whole gamut of problems alone.

Do we all really have a right to have water? Some of us think not. We sell this life necessity as if it was chocolate or coal. What does the UN think about this? Should water rights be bought and sold? The other issue is the right to pollute waters. The companies you love could just be hurting you with there water pollution.
